Location: Teesport Bulk Terminal, although there may be a requirement to work in all Tees and Hartlepool locations.
Working Arrangements: The Port is open 24/7 in line with the business needs and our varied shifts reflect this.
The main things our Dock Operative will be working on are:
• Working as a team to operate a variety of cranes, mobile plant and other loading equipment.
• Undertake the safe loading and discharge of various cargo from vessels.
• Help the business achieve its growth targets.
• Operate a safety first philosophy.
We are seeking someone who:
• Is committed to a Safety-First philosophy and able to comply with safe systems of work, risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
• Can work under their own initiative or as part of a team.
• Is an effective communicator.
• Has a full driving license.
• Has previous experience of working as a Dock Operative although this is not an essential requirement of the role, as full training will be provided.
