As our business continues to develop and expand, the above position has been created to help support the continued growth of the Warehousing division.
Location: Circa 80% of time between Teesport, Billingham and Hartlepool and 20% in Felixstowe.
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday 35 hours per week
The five main things our Commercial Director, Warehousing will be working on are:
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunity through existing relationships and new business connections
- Manage key accounts in line with our business strategy
- Support and maintain cross departmental growth within PD Ports
- Lead on contract negotiations and annual rate reviews
- Provide weekly/periodical performance measures in line with internal and customer related KPI’s
We are seeking someone who:
- Has a proven track record in logistics with a strong network of clients who require port related services
- Has experience in delivering sustainable solutions in line with environmental, social and corporate governance
- Has a strong understanding of the UK Port industry and multi discipline operations
- Holds entrepreneurial and dynamic thinking with excellent relationship building skills
- Has a keen eye for attention to detail and understands the needs of our customers, consumers and key stakeholders.
