The purpose of the Contract Manager role is to manage operational running of a highly valued logistics contract. The role will have the responsibility of safety, people, service, quality and cost of the key Billingham Warehouse Operations and will be required to ensure consistency and stability with high quality performance of the overall operation. The Contract Manager will report to the Operations Manager for Billingham and Hartlepool.

Location: Billingham, Cowpen Lane
Working Arrangements: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week

•Management of operational Health and Safety.
•Management of customer service levels.
•Responsibility of overall site operations and personnel.
•Continuous improvement of quality and standards.

We are seeking someone with:
•Fast-paced operational management experience within manufacturing logistics.
•Strong people management skills.
•High drive for continuous improvement and change management.
•Ability to analyse and present data to drive performance and efficiencies.
•Commercial awareness and experience in cost control.
•Strong customer service skills.
