Location: Groveport, Scunthorpe
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking applicants for the role of Contract Manager within the Steel Department of our Groveport business. This will be dedicated to one of our two major steel customers and will provide effective leadership to operational contracts ensuring that we meet or exceed our established goals.
The five main things our Contract Manager will be working on are:
- Actively ensuring our health and safety procedures are adhered to, as well as encouraging a safety-first culture within their contract, as well as the wider site.
- Development and coaching of site colleagues allocated to the contract.
- Delivery of Customer and Operational KPI’s.
- Own and deliver positive financial performance, whilst being responsible for budgeting.
- Work on Warehouse Management Systems, whilst always seeking continuous improvement.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is passionate about Health & Safety.
- Can work well within a team and develop effective working relationships across the site.
- Can drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Has experience of financial planning and implementing cost control initiatives.
- Has experience of People Management and understands the process of hiring, leading, and developing team members.
