A vacancy has arisen for a full-time experienced Group Business Continuity & Resilience Partner at PD Ports within the Risk and Resilience team.

Location: Based at Teesdock with travel to other sites as required
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and delivering simulation exercises, and emergency response plans. This role will contribute to the completion of risk registers, therefore risk management knowledge would be an advantage, but this is something we can develop with you. Knowledge of Crisis Management would also be advantageous. This is a pivotal role working with the Group Resilience Manager in preparing our business and people for disruptive events.

The four main things our Group Business Continuity & Resilience Partner will be working on are:
• Business Continuity Management
• Developing and producing emergency response plans, and organisation of simulation scenarios
• Support risk work including operational risk registers
• Stakeholder engagement to consult on, develop, implement and improve resilience within the organisation

We are seeking someone who:
• Has experience of developing and embedding emergency plans, procedures and exercising these across multiple locations and diverse industries such as Ports, Logistics & Warehousing
• Has knowledge and experience of Business Continuity Management, and awareness of Operational Risk and Risk Registers
• Has awareness of what is involved in Crisis Management
• Ideally educated to degree level and / or experience in these fields: Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, Emergency    Planning, Disaster Management or similar, but your experience may be more valuable to us!
• Business Continuity Institute Qualification is desirable (CBCI)
• Training Qualification is desirable
