A vacancy has arisen for a full time Reach Sacker and Tug Operative for our Yard Operations at PD Ports Felixstowe reporting to the Transport Operations Manager.
Location: Felixstowe
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
The four main things our Reach Stacker and Tug Operative will be working on are:
- Drive the reach stacker and tug on the day shift and unload shunters coming from the port.
- Control the yard operation and manage container stacks in the yard in terms of clients and the weather.
- Move trailers across the site in line with warehouse requirements.
- Set up and exchange on the bays with laden containers for devan.
We are seeking someone who:
- Has their Reach stacker and Tug Licence and experience of both vehicles.
- Is able to work on their own initiative as well as working in a team.
- Is able to adhere to our health and safety policy.
- Has good communication skills.
