An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Transport Manager within our Transport department, to develop a bulk
tippers transport operation to support existing volumes currently been handled through Teesport and
Hartlepool, plus further supporting our customer’s needs. You will be responsible for the smooth running of
day-to-day operations and ensuring the transport operation remains compliant with legislation.
The ideal candidate will need experience in all avenues of transport management including bulk tippers, flat
trailers, curtain-siders and containers, plus the knowledge to back load vehicles throughout the UK.
The five main things our Transport Manager will be working on are:
• Delivering against financial targets.
• Commercial development.
• Maintaining TASCC accreditation.
• Managing Health & Safety.
• Smooth running of day-to-day operations and support/supervision of the team.
We are seeking someone who has:
• At least five years’ operating/managing a fleet of bulk tippers.
• Good analytical skills and experience managing change.
• Holds a CPC Transport Management qualification.
• Proven track record of developing and leading a team to support the growth of the business.
• Excellent communication skills.
• O Licence holder.
