We’re delighted that seven members of our team have been shortlisted for the Multimodal 30 Under 30 list. The prestigious list features young people in the industry who are paving the way for the future and were nominated for their outstanding work and passion for the logistics sector.
To celebrate this fantastic achievement, we caught up with each of our nominees to find out more about them and their role within PD Ports…
Our second nominee, Trudi, first joined PD Ports in 2014 as a volunteer in the accounts department at Groveport. Six years later, she is considered a key member of the wider PD Ports team and a vital cog in our operations.
While volunteering, Trudi impressed so much that she was offered a full-time role as a Commercial Assistant, supporting the commercial team on the Humber and completing business administration tasks. She has since been promoted to Operations Admin Superintendent.
Trudi’s knowledge of the industry coupled with her drive and commitment has seen her career rapidly progress during her six years with us and she now acts as a mentor for logistics apprentices, sharing her passion with the next generation.
Discussing her nomination in the 30 Under 30 list, Trudi said: “Working for PD Ports allows me to push myself to constantly learn new skills to enhance my career.
“It’s exciting to be nominated and encouraging that my hard work and efforts have not gone unnoticed.”
