PD Ports has been awarded a four-year contract to operate the import logistics and front-line quality inspection for oil specialists Kerfoot at their port facility in Goole.
Through its Humber-based shipping and inspection team, PD Ports, one the UK’s major port groups, will provide the stevedoring and tank management for a selection of imported high quality oils to be used in the food, technical and personal care industries.
PD Ports has extensive specialist experience dealing with niche products including oils, cereals and grains, already operating similar UK contracts.
The service provided by PD Ports will ensure a seamless transition of The Kerfoot Group’s oil products from the vessel to a dedicated onsite facility including a comprehensive quality control inspection.
