High Tide Foundation

We co-founded High Tide Foundation in 2012 with a view to dispelling the myths often associated with the maritime sector and encouraging children out of the classroom and into industry.

Opening the door

Delivering meaningful work experience and career programmes to schools, colleges and young people across the Tees Valley, the independent charity has continued to go from strength-to-strength and now boasts more than 150 supporting businesses.

Through insights, placements and workshops – delivered both in schools and within the workplace – their programmes directly connect young people with employers from a diverse range of industries; connecting the curriculum with careers, opening the door to employment and providing a glimpse into opportunities across the Tees Valley.
