Bridging the gap

The Teesside Charity, previously known as the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, is a wide-ranging organisation, established in 2011 to provide social and economic opportunities that would not otherwise exist in the area.

The charity’s key function is to financially support community groups and charities that provide support to those who find themselves at a social disadvantage. We have supported a number of initiatives in recent years, including a £10,000 donation during the COVID-19 pandemic to The James Cook University Hospital. This helped fund iPads for patients, allowing them to communicate with loved ones at home. We also made a £5,000 donation to support the annual toy drive to ensure no child on Teesside goes without a Christmas gift.
